I wondered as I wandered through the hello kitty convention! Everything hello kitty! Dresses, microwaves, popcorn makers, snowboards, desks, dolls, everything. It was super fantastic plastic! I really had a marvy time huneycakes! It was like a hello kitty convention meets museum, meets cafe crowd. Anywho, I drove there early birdy, so I wouldn't be late. I was anticipating to meet a girl named Shrinkle she was the one who told me about this hello kitty goth party. Her real name is Amy. ON another note, this boy I met in San Diego called me once. Are we playing a game of cat and mouse. I don't know. Is love a two way street or three way street. I don't know. We should have known that cuddling together forever does not gurauntee staying together forever, rule number one. Anyways, back to my story, I got there early so I checked out the antique artsy shops that lined the half-deserted street. The first store had renaissance opera-esque painting with a man on it who attracted me, playing a lute, wearing the same color Marie-Antoinette pink. Then, a nice persian man approached me, I glanced away staring at an homage to Michael Jackson painting, cubism style, and I realized who painted it. I talked with him a little, and I moved on to the next store...also owned by a Persian. A soft-spoken delicate-natured man in a cap was leading me down throught the magical shop filled with pieces he found. He eagerly, excitedly and was in a high-spirit to pick up antique pieces and show them to me one by one. Like Arial's treasures, stuff my mom would like, stuff my dad would like. Then, I bid him adieu. What a sweet-natured man. It was my first time parading down this artists district. Boys and cars started whistling. I walked by a construction site and they started whistling. Then, I headed back in my car to roll on through Culver city. I didn't remember Culver City at all. Then, as I approached slowlt yet hesitantly towards the city, I started to remember I went on a date in this city at the movie theater, and probably didn't want to ever come back to this city, and I didn't want to remember this bitter memory at all. This memory disappointed me and left me with a sad feeling, but the positive part was that the hello kitty party was here, yay!!! The air of my ex-boyfriend lingered about. But another side of me was made happy to get that feeling of familiarity, and it made me smarter to recognize that city. When someone asks me where Culver City is, I can say yes! Now, I can say to myself that I know Culver City. I was still early so I hang around an In n Out and pick up some Roller-girl Genre book. It feels like this Genre is becoming popular arriving after the Vampire Genre which I give lots of credit for makinf a movie like Twilight and Moon. I read it and it's not bad. It posesses a certain spunky funky punky style that I would write. Kind of Sassy, nasty girlish. Yeah! Go Roller Derby Debbie! Yeah! From a distance I see a friendly looking tree, with thick long branches and overgrown roots sprawled around it everywhere in the grass. I pick up my spiked heels to not sink between the over-grown knarly tree vines or roots. It was a freindly looking tree, so I sat on it. As the sun began to set, a punk walked by and sat on the grass across me, mumbling something. A couple words. I began eating quickly, then I left. An agreeable-sized line lined the side-walk. I happily hopped in the line and quickly began chatting with people. There were three really friendly asian girls. One, named Michelle sported all white contact lenses. I keep finding people with all-white lenses, it's cuz I wunna buy one. I noticed noone was dressed really all out, everybody knew to wear sophisticated all-black. It was a goth party anyways. They must have signaled each other before-hand. It's a girl thing. Michelle's friend was named Quinn. She died her short hair pink and sported a huge lace hello kitty barret. She wore a sensible pink lace tutu and wore joker pink and black tights. They shared green oreo cookies with me and talked for a long time. Wherever you guys are, I luv ya'll and hope to hang out again! I luv my furends and show them gangsta luv! Then, we introduced ourselves to the couple in front of us, who said she had an Egyptian name of Camilla. More girls came in all black and impressive tiny hats with great plumes. Now, the line started getting considerably long, stretching down the boulevard and I was glad to be in the front. Last-minute people were shopping inside. I met new girls who complemented my costume and asked to take pictures with me. I guess this replaced the comic-con convention I missed. It was the baby babomb! I tried to get in, but the bodygaurd told me to wait for everyone to leave the shop. Once the line started moving, we all cheered and got rowdy and excited and the first object we saw was a hello kitty hot air balloon. The first glimpse I took inside was like heaven! There was a hello kitty museum behind a glass. They displayed a dress made of all hello kitty dolls mad for Lady GaGa. The giggle asian girls agreed that hello kitty is expensive and it was hello good to come early and get free stuff! The pink gift bag certainly made us happy! They sold comically big inflatable bows for girls who didn't have costumes. Girls started coming in milk-maid costumes like in cos-play. Kuromi came! The evil hello kitty. Melodi and I won the costume contest! Last year I got first place too, but this year I got third place. We hung out in a room with couches and 1 strobe light set on medium and a glittering skull on the coffee table. Good! This replaced my party! I so deserved this! Miss snooty tooty bat costume made her own costume too really well. I chatted with her and she worked in the store. Another girl who worked at the store was dressed as a red chair. That is really original. Then, the bartender ordered me a drink of Sake. It was good! A girl stood by me at the bar showing me her beyond beautiful masquerade mask. It was pretty mellow. Chilly as a billy goat. They played Morrisey, depeched mode, Goth Industrial. Open-minded people came, girls danced. I met a really nice Goth lady. They displaced an homage to Hello Kitty, paintings by art students. There was another gallery featuring photos of Lady Gaga with huge speed-racer eyes. There was a cafe serving yummy yummy cupcakes, and a tower of suchi sensation! I'm gunna dine there next time. Finally, Amy came to the party, she smiled earnestly and I placed the hello kitty fan doll I made on her neck, she ws flattered. I was violently happy to see fruits, like huge posters on the walls. I love this one girl who made her own costume of Kuromi! As the night seemed to appraoch to an end, I was hanging out with Melodi who was a poised intellectual young lady..........To be continued....
